Someone recently commented on a friend's post attacking Ron Paul :
"I don't understand how anyone can support a man, regardless of his economic agenda, if he so firmly believes that women are not capable of making their own decisions about their bodies and no one is allowed to decide who to love."
To which I responded:
"Obama supports the FDA, which prevents everyone (not just women) from making many medical decisions about their own bodies. (If you want a drug/medical device that's not approved by the FDA, medical providers who attempt to provide it risk jail and/or massive fines.)
Obama supports the Drug War, and will kill or imprison you if you decide to consume certain drugs. (As many black men are in the prison system now, as were enslaved prior to the Civil War, largely as a result of the drug war.)
How can Democrats support Obama, when he so firmly believes that men and women alike are incapable of making their own decisions about their bodies?"
P.S. Obama also opposes gay marriage.
