I\'ve been trying to imagine the absolute worst case scenario possible. The best I\'ve come up with so far is that I\'m the toy of sadistic god, living in a simulated universe designed to give me a taste of a relative happiness, so that when I die and am reborn into a universe of pain, I will remember that brief moment of happiness, and know the true magnitude of my suffering.
