After seeing Nataly Dawn perform at the Makeout Room in SF, I've been inspired to plot some house concerts/performances of my own. Her performance made me realize that even internet famous artists are often willing to perform at small venues.
What artists would y'all be interested in seeing? I know some of you are performers yourselves (Molly Stenhouse, Christina Marcet, Rebecca Lipon). I would also be excited to see other local musicians, dancers, acroyogi, aerialist/circus troupes, fire artists, magicians, hoopers, stilt walkers, live drawing artists, body painters, and any combinations thereof. If you or someone you know might like to perform at such an event, please get in touch. If there's someone you'd like to see, please let me now that too. I'm also open to suggestions for beautiful venues around the Bay Area, especially private homes that are large enough to host such events. Thanks!
