# Last year at a festival I attended, one of the people in my camp…

*July 5, 2015 · Facebook*

::: {}
Last year at a festival I attended, one of the people in my camp behaved poorly.\
\
For example, one night she ended up passed out naked in my bed, and refused to move when I tried to get her out. I ended up sleeping elsewhere in a much more uncomfortable spot. In the morning, she was not at all apologetic until I complained to the camp lead.\
\
At the end, while everyone else was working their butts off to tear down and load our camp\'s art project, she sat on her suitcase and complained bitterly that no one was giving her a ride to the train station in a nearby city. (She had made no prior arrangements with anyone in the camp to get a ride.) Finally, someone gave her a ride, just so she would stop complaining.\
\
I later learned that she sexually harassed another woman at the festival, by fondling her breasts without permission.\
\
Now she wants to attend again, as part of a larger mega-camp I\'m part of, and she\'s asking me how she can get a spot in the camp.\
\
I want nothing to do with her and I don\'t want her to camp with us.\
\
What\'s the best way to respond? Should I simply ignore her? Should I tell her why I want nothing to do with her? She doesn\'t seem likely to respond to criticism well, and I don\'t want to start punching a tar baby.\
\
And how broadly should I alert others to her bad behavior?\
\
EDIT: She\'s elected to comment on this post. Her name is Cassandra Marshall if you\'d like to read her side of things below.
