Shower thoughts: Cecil the Lion Hunter received world-wide condemnation for killing a photogenic, popular animal. While hunting is not my thing, I don\'t think he deserved the villification he received. After all, how many people eat hamburger, wear leather, or otherwise consume animals of equal moral worth as Cecil?\
\
Would sentiment have been different had the hunt been more \"fair\"? Suppose the hunting license were predicated on arming the dentist in such a way that Vegas bookies would\'ve given him a 50/50 chance of surviving the hunt. Maybe he\'d have to hunt wearing nothing but a bowie knife and a bowtie. Would sentiment have still been as hostile?
