Painters sometimes make use of projectors to aid in their work. They\'ll project an image against a canvas or wall, and paint or trace the image.\

Is there such a thing for sculpture? Imagine a 3-D image projected onto a block of styrofoam. Areas to be cut away are red, with a deeper red indicating a deeper cut, and green or white light indicating that you\'ve cut deep enough. With a hot knife or other tool, you cut away until the light turns green. Does such a thing exist?
