My friend Elizabeth has asked me to reach out to people I know on behalf of Soviet dissident Vladimir Bukovsky. He's currently on a hunger strike in England, to protest child pornography charges that were leveled against him last year.
Elizabeth believes that he's being framed by the FSB (successor to
KGB) in retaliation for his political opposition to Putin, and to
taint his testimony in the investigation of Alexander Litvinenko's
murder (the former FSB whistleblower who was poisoned with polonium).
