Reading Amanda Palmer\'s book \"The Art of Asking\". Finding weird connections. For example, I\'m pretty far from the music scene. I don\'t play an instrument, don\'t sing, don\'t go to clubs. I can count the number of concerts I\'ve been to on one hand. Yet somehow I\'ve met in person two big musical influences in her life\--Jason Webley and The Legendary Pink Dots.\

Also, she lives in an intentional community called Cloud Club in Boston.\
