There are a lot of materials / tools with very interesting properties, which are difficult to price/buy. In some cases, it just takes a fair bit of time googling to source them. However, in many cases,even if you find a source, the suppliers won't even give you prices or the location of their distributors unless you call or email them. Sometimes they don't even want to talk to you unless you can buy industrial / pallet quantities.
