What are current best practices for low cost \"defensive publication\", i.e., publishing an idea for the purposes of establishing it as \"prior art\"? So far the best process I\'ve come across is to:\

1. Write a description of the idea according to the template at [](){target="_blank"}\
\

\
2. Add the pdf to the [defensivepublications.org](http://defensivepublications.org){target="_blank"} archive.\
\

\
