This is interesting. I don't think it's going to work in the long run, because it's still a centralized service (and thus a single point of failure). They're also exclusively focused on sexual services--with listings they wholly control and profit from--rather than a general purpose app whose listings they don't control.

In my opinion, Bram Cohen still walks free because he designed Bittorrent such that it was a decentralized service that even he cannot stop or control, even if he wanted to do so. And Bittorrent can also be used for many legal purposes (not just illegal filesharing).

Whereas Ross Ulbricht is serving two life sentences, IMHO, in part, because he wholly controlled who was allowed to buy/sell on the Silk Road. He profited directly from the sale of illegal drug listings that he could've taken down at any time, if he wanted to.
