Ugh, you\'d think companies as wealthy as FB and Google would be able to address obvious UI defects more quickly.\

For example, I get notifications for FB posts I comment on. When I go to turn off these notifications, I have to turn on notifications first, then turn them off. (If notifications were turned off though, why was I getting notifications?!?) It\'s been like this for years.\
\
Similarly, with Google Hangouts, you can\'t add a contact from within the app. You have to login to Contacts first, and add them there. People have been complaining about this since 2015.
