Airbnb tip: It's never a good sign when short term guests wash the linens. It means that they've spilled blood or wine (or both) on your sheets and they're trying to hide it. Which is frustrating because if they tell you, then you can spray the sheets with a pre-treatement, and get most of it out. But If they wash and dry the sheets, then it gets baked in.

So I've put in a disclaimer that if a guest tells me that they've spilled something, their deposit won't be deducted. That seems to have helped somewhat, but they still do it.
