My picks:

Other People's Money - one of the few movies to portray financial professionals in a positive light. Larry the Liquidator's speech to the shareholders is an ode to the creative destruction that makes capitalism such a force for good.

The Matrix - the movie which introduced the concept of uploading our consciousness to an advanced computer to a mainstream audience.

Limitless - one of the few movies that portrays using drugs to augment our minds in a positive light

Ghostbusters - depicts the humor and hardship of starting a new company , as well as the frustrations of dealing with arrogant regulators enforcing perverse regulations.

Groundhog Day - I often feel sad that I have such limited time to master all there is to learn in the word--I would love to have as much time as he enjoyed, even if it was the same day. It also extols the virtue of doing good for its own sake.
