Last night was a night of long knives over at reddit. With no warning, a bunch of subreddits have been banned. So far, /r/drugs, /r/bitcoin are still up, but who knows how long that will last.\
\
Thoughts on the best place to host alternatives, given the declining tolerance for discussion of guns/drugs/sex work on mainstream sites? The ideal site would have the following features:\

\* decentralized / P2P\
\* good UI\
\* anonymous (runs over Tor/I2P\
\* good moderation tools\
\* deletable messages/accounts/groups\
\* self-hostable\
\* open source\
\
So far, some alternatives include:\
\
