I met Dana when she did some consulting work for The Seasteading Institute when they were planning the first Ephemerisle. Her passing was so sudden; one week, she was complaining about suffering from the flu, then she was in the hospital with a terminal diagnosis, then she was gone. She was only 57. We weren't close, but she seemed like a good person--the world is poorer for her loss. We get so little time on this earth, and can go at any moment. My sympathies to her friends and family.
