But requiring LEOs to carry the same kind of malpractice insurance medical professionals have as a condition of employment would probably work pretty good.\
\
Bad cops rates would go up/or be dropped by the insurance company, eventually leading to quick unemployment, and taking the payout off the tax payer.\
\
Better yet, your insurance rating will follow you where ever you go. No more moving two cities over and getting another job as a cop after you get fired from the first one.\"\
