Does anyone know of a crypto wallet that will allow me to subscribe to a service in a similar way that credit card subscriptions work? I want to be able to authorize repeated payments to a service until I cancel the subscription, without further action from me.
For example, suppose I wanted to donate $10/month to the Electronic Frontiers Foundation. I want to be able to configure the wallet to send $10 in BTC every month on the 5th day until one of the following conditions is reached a) the subscription end date b) the wallet runs out of money c) a maximum threshold amount is reached d) I manually cancel the subscription.
Services like Coinbase/Bitpay can do this, but I want software that I can run locally (like Electrum) which doesn't require giving a third party custodial control.
BTCServer can be configured to send bills to subscribers, but each bill must be actively approved before payment is sent.
I've found a lot of discussion of recurring bitcoin payments online, but I've not yet found a wallet that has the feature set above.
