The Arkup is designed to resist high winds and hurricane force winds (up to 156 mph | 250 km/h – Category 4.) The vessel can be completely lifted out of the water on its spuds, in up to 25 feet of water (7.5 meters) with 10 ft of air draft between bottom of vessel and the surface of the ocean.
