If intelligence is determined to a large degree by genetics, then it stands to reason that we'll be able to someday figure out what those genes and genetic mechanisms are. In which case, we could tie those genes / gene complexes to the same gene drive mechanisms being contemplated for the extinction of mosquitos.

Imagine a world in which the general population has a circa 2018 IQ of 150.
