The whole idea of a level playing field in sport is kinda weird. Genes that code for high testosterone in women are verboten, but genes that code for height, fast twitch fibers, high VO2 max, fast reaction times, etc, are not?
IMO, there should be one single rating for each sport like chess ELO ratings, and anyone should be able to modify their body in anyway they like. Then you can have different rankings depending on how you want to slice the ratings; ie highest ranked AMAB/AFAB, trans, amputee/cyborg, genetically modified, drug assisted, etc. You could also have a handicap system based on weight, height, testosterone levels, fast twitch / slow twitch fiber ratio, VO2 max, etc.
Those that didn't want to compete with trans, or drug-assisted could stick to the categories they like (AMAB/AFAB, non-GMO, non-drug-assisted, for example). Their overall ELO rating might suffer, but they would have fewer competitors in the specialized ranking categories.
