I thought that given their profession, attorneys would be better at proper argumentation in casual settings than an average person (avoiding strawman arguments, ad hominem, etc). But at least in my\--admittedly anecdotal\--experience that doesn\'t seem to be the case.\

EDIT: I should point out that they don\'t argue any worse than average. Just not better, which is what I would\'ve expected.
