\"The Union of Societies for the Development of Lausanne (USDL) decided to mark the start of the third millennium with the construction of the Sauvabelin Tower. This tower built in local massive wood with an environmentally friendly approach allows everybody to watch the wonderful panoramic view above Lausanne. The 302 steps of the Sauvabelin tower sponsored by many local companies and private persons will allow you to access safely the panoramic platform after an invigorating effort. The Sauvabelin Tower opened to the public on the 15th December 2003.\

Height of the tower : 35 meters\
The top platform is more than 30 meters height, well above the tree canopies!\
Diameter at floor level : 12 meters\
Diameter on the top platform : 10 meters\
