"You might think that the US would at least have some health agency somewhere collating all the tests people are taking for COVID, to see where lots of them are coming back positive. Wrong!

The US government wasn't doing this, so a random bunch of volunteers decided they had to start, calling it 'The COVID Tracking Project'.

The CDC page on this is in fact actively misleading tonnes of people, as it now only includes 1 in 7 of all the COVID19 tests taken in the US.
