'What we’ve been doing the past week....
Heading up a mask project working with the innovation team at Cedar-Sinai. Making samples of medical grade mask so that we can split production between a few factories in LA.
We started with Honeywell a/c filters to sandwich inside. (MERV 13 or FPRO 9 or above) Honeywell uses no fiberglass in their filters. Anyone can grab them from Home Depot. Now we’re buying this H-600 medical fabric. Blue lined mask below.
We obtained enough filter material for 65,000 masks and are currently in production. We’ve gotten so many requests from health care workers and hospitals it’s kinda scary.
