According to the Washington post, cops killed approximately 1000 people (all races, all reasons) in 2019.

So, if the rioters / protestors cause more than a 1000 excess deaths (due to assault, accidents, Covid-19 infections, etc), they will have been responsible for more deaths than the cops they are protesting.
