"Sex robot questionnaire in Norway. Men are largely fine with a partner owning a sex robot. Women are not.

This study also doesn't support an EP theory about women feeling more jealous about platonic love (from a robot).

"Males, who report feeling at ease with the thought of their partner having a robot, erroneously expect that their partners will extend the same relaxed attitude toward them. Females on the other hand, who are negative to the prospect of their male partners having a sex robot, and neutral to them having a platonic love robot, erroneously expect their partners to react negatively to them having a sex robot and positively to them having a platonic love robot."
