I just discovered The Politician, and am enjoying it a great deal. Here\'s my review:\
\
The Politician is a comedy starring Ben Platt as Payton Hobart, a pathologically ambitious high school student who will stop at nothing to realize his political dreams.\
\
The cast is uniformly superb, with delightful supporting performances from Gwyneth Paltrow (as Payton\'s mother) and Jessica Lange (as his running mate\'s mother).\
\
Showrunners Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan advance the plot at a rapid clip, and the dialogue is whip smart. I laughed out loud several times during the first episode. Highly recommended!\
