My Dad writes:
"Photo was probably taken in 1957. I would have been 7, Don was 5 and Kenny was three. The home was built in 1930 by my Dad and was only about 600 or 700 square feet. My Mom and Dad, us three children and Chuck and Dave and Steve lived there. At the time, it was a two bedroom, living room and small kitchen. The outhouse was out back. Soon, my Dad and older half-brothers added a much needed cinder block addition, a basement, and a bathroom. We were pretty crowded to say the least. My older brothers, Chuck, David and Steve all helped Dad build the addition."
