Since a few of you are new here, I thought it might be a good idea to review what you can expect by following along...
I have a fairly wide variety of interests. Common topics include (but are not limited to) the following:
* sex work
* drugs
* permaculture
* cryptocurrency
* art / photography
* TV / movies
* anarchocapitalism
* seasteading
* self improvement
* life extension / cryonics
* alternative architecture / tiny houses
To my mind, all of the above are interrelated in a way that can be best summed up by the maxim: "Live long, live free, live well." However, no matter the topic, I try to post things that are novel, beautiful, funny, or useful.
My politics sometimes annoy people. I also have a taste for the macabre and gallows humor. So, it's likely I'll eventually post something that annoys, angers, or disgusts you. If that happens I hope you'll believe that my intentions are good, and that I'm trying to push ideas that I think will make the world a better place on net. Or at least make you laugh.
Although I often post things that I agree with, I also post things that I disagree with, in whole or in part. Reposting someone else's article should also not be taken as an endorsement of their character or views as a whole. Likewise, I'm fairly liberal about friending people, especially if they share some of my more niche views (such as cryonics or seasteading). Appearing on my friend's list should not be taken as an endorsement.
I welcome corrections of factual matters. However, I'm unlikely to respond well to demands that I self-censor or attempts to shame me. Similarly, I want to foster a place where people can participate without facing insults, insinuations of ill-motives, or other personal attacks. I expect everyone who comments to treat others with kindness and courtesy at all times.
Most things I post are public, and you should feel free to re-post them. No credit expected, though I don't mind if you do give me credit. If I post something that's friend's only, please check before reposting.
I'm always looking to add people who share similar interests and a similar philosophy of life. Introductions to others you think would enjoy following me (and vice versa) are welcome and invited!
