Has anyone hosted a shelter cat house party?\

Here\'s how I think it might work:\
\
\* Find someone with a house or event space who would be willing to host a party with lots of cats\
\* Contact shelters and rescues and ask them if you can borrow some friendly kitties for a weekend.\
\* Bring the kitties over a couple of days beforehand so that they get acclimated to the house and each other\
\* Invite fellow cat lovers to the party. Suggest that they bring cat-themed songs to share, cat art, etc.\
\
Advantages: People get to play with the kitties (and maybe adopt some), listen to music, see art, hang out with friends.\
\
Questions:\
\
1. Would shelter kitties enjoy this?\
2. Would shelter kitties make too much of a mess?\
3. How many shelter kitties is a good number?\
4. How many guests?\
5. Potential spaces?
