@[1375630950:2048:Rocco Stanzione]'s thoughts mirror my own.

"'Poverty levels have dropped dramatically in Chile over the last 20 years; it is now the richest country in South America on a per capita basis. But it remains one of the world's most unequal nations and many Chileans want to see the country's wealth distributed more equally.'

So Chileans have voted to throw out the constitution under which they found prosperity, and apparently intend to elect socialists to write a new one. If so, it's going to become South America's next Venezuela. It will, for a moment, be an "economic miracle" touted as such by the Left, as it feasts on its seed corn, only to be added to the dungheap of "not real socialism". Which is not literally made of dung of course, but rather snuffed out and shattered human lives."
