A friend\'s post prompted me to think about quintessentially American food and experiences. So I started compiling a list here:\

\
What would you add to the list? Feel free to add to the list, either here or there, if you like.\
\
EDIT: I realize that some of these things are also available in some other countries. Please, I\'m looking for suggestions of things that \_you\_ think are quintessentially American, not arguments about what is/is not quintessentially American.
