Amazing how much more willing parents were to let kids take physical risks in the past. I remember playing on high flyers like this one when I was a kid. And yes, it was dangerous! If you let go before it stopped, you'd fly off and land a few feet away. Or you'd get whacked in the head by the steel handle at the end of the chain.
