Just to be clear, for those with defective sarcasm detectors:
I condemn these riots in support of tyranny as much as I condemn the BLM riots. Yes, (peacefully) protest in the streets. Yes, roundly condemn the structural biases that keep corrupt and incompetent politicians in power. Yes, condemn the media bias against Trump and conservatives.
But breaking into the Capital building, and forcing Congress to flee risks civil war. Progressives and socialists will use these events as an excuse to crack down on the free speech and civil liberties of everyone. It will inspire BLM/antifa mobs to double down and become even more violent and destructive.
Was there some corruption in the elections? Yes. But there's always some corruption--it's impossible to completely eliminate. (And I'm confident that not all of the corruption favored the Democrats.)
Was the level of corruption enough to matter? No. Trump has lost almost every court challenge to the elections--including the Supreme Court, which has a majority of conservatives, including three appointed by him. And none of his wins made a material difference in the outcome.
War is hell, and it's foolish to risk a nationwide civil war. The last civil war resulted in 750 - 850 K deaths, about 2% of the population. A proportionately large war now would result in about 6.6 million deaths.
Moreover, war is the health of the state. The more civil unrest, the more violence, the more there's a call for increased government power to suppress it.
And there's no guarantee that your guy will be the one with his hand on the nightstick of the state. Socialists have "won" at least as many violet revolutions as they've lost, as the history of Russia, China, and many other countries attest.
Progressives/socialists control the schools, most news media, most of Hollywood, and most of the civil service. Historically, Democrats have won in Congress and the White House more often than Republicans. Do you want to live under martial law under Biden? Or Harris?
