And just to be clear, I think it's the right of private companies (Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc) to censor whomever they like, however they like. Even the President of the United States. The right to free speech also includes the right to be free of coerced speech. And I argued that companies had the same right during the Net Neutrality debate.

But being legal, isn't the same as desirable. Google, Facebook, Apple, Twitter and other tech companies have a lot of power and influence. I would prefer that companies give their users more and better tools to do their own curation, rather than paternalistically censoring others on their behalf. Especially censorship of such important figures such as the President of the United States!
