Back up your FB data, folks. I'm hearing a lot more reports of accounts being closed without recourse, old posts being deleted, etc. Even if you're on the side of justice and light (from Facebook's perspective), they don't care if they cause some collateral damage..

"Tech friends: three friends had their facebook accounts suspended and told there is no appeal, because they were admins to a FB group that was hosting a lecture that was critiquing a well-known disinformation group. They made the error of using the name of the disinfo group and they got permanently suspended and told there was no appeal. They had been speaking out *against* this nefarious group!!
Anyone have ideas about to appeal? Connections at FB?
