I've bought multiple power cables for my computers over the years, as the cables all eventually bend enough that they develop a short. Ideally, I'd like to find a power cable that could be configured to deliver whatever amount of power the laptop/PC requires and can be repaired without replacngi the entire cable.
This does mostly what I want:

However, it doesn't come with Mac adapters. And you have to manually configure it.
Is there a modular smart power cables/adapters that communicate with the laptop to automatically deliver the voltage/frequency the laptop requires?
