EDIT: To be clear, no, I don\'t think most modern minimum wage supporters support eugenics. But I think they\'re economically illiterate, and influenced by propaganda from labor unions, who want to undercut anyone willing to work for less than union scale, and whose contracts are often written to increase in proportion to minimum wage increases.\
\
However, though the original eugenicist\'s goals were repugnant, they got the economics right: minimum wage laws prevent the least skilled from earning a living.
