"Also many women worry that porn and sex work is exploitative of women, and don't like it for that reason." Yes, that's a commonly stated justification for anti-sex work laws. But if anti-sex work laws exist to prevent harm to sex workers, why do cops kidnap and jail _sex workers_. Isn't that a strange way to treat the _victims_? Imagine someone who claimed they cared about abused children, yet who advocated putting _children_ in prison cells. Also, why do such women ignore what _sex workers_ say they want? If you ask sex workers how they want to be treated, none of them say they want to be arrested, fined, or caged. Nor do they want their customers arrested, fined, and caged. (See the Ted video below for what sex workers actually want.) By contrast, if you assume that civilian women want to _punish_ sex workers, then the current anti-sex work laws make a lot more sense. It also explains why some women are hostile to sexbots, despite there being no potential for exploitation at all.
