I like that he doesn\'t denigrate IKEA for doing what they do. Instead, he offers two pieces of advice to would-be buyers of custom trade services, to avoid wasting everyone\'s time.\
\
1. Let the tradesperson know what your maximum budget is right off the bat.\
\
2. Offer them a \$100 as an \"interest fee\", which is deducted from the total bill if you select them to do the work.
