# Rittenhouse wasn't the only person acquitted in a self-defense case…

Rittenhouse wasn\'t the only person acquitted in a self-defense case recently. However, in Andrew Coffee\'s case, they\'re going to try to get him on a weapon\'s charge instead. I wonder if the people complaining about Rittenhouse carrying a rifle will cheer on this guy going to prison for 30 years for carrying a gun illegally? As Spike Cohen writes:\

\"It\'s great that Andrew was acquitted for murder, but unfortunately he was also found guilty of possessing a firearm as a felon.\
\
Because they couldn\'t get him on the murder charge, the prosecution says they\'re going to try to get him sentenced to the maximim 30 years for the gun charge.\
\
This case is another example of why gun laws shouldn\'t exist.\"\
