After 7 years of development, the open source, open hardware Axiom camera team just completed their first production run, and they're now taking orders for their Axiom Beta development kits (to be delivered in 5-6 weeks).
At a price of ~$5 K, the Axiom is targeting the professional market initially. It will accept E-mount Canon lens initially. Other specs are listed here:
