If you want to see a clear example of how Google bowdlerizes their search results, just compare a search for any recreational drug on Google vs the same search on Bing. Google clearly puts government propaganda toward the top, instead of actually useful results.

[EDIT: it seems that Bing is weighting government / rehab sites higher now too.]
