It\'s always hard to know what to believe, since environmentalists have so often cried wolf. However, it seems plausible that insect populations have declined as a result of the use of pesticides / herbicides.\

These robot weeders use cameras to quickly identify weeds and laser them to death, thus obviating the need for herbicides.
