Philip Dean For what it's worth, I think you've comported yourself very well. I don't regard you as an enemy. As time as passed, I've become increasingly radicalized with respect to leftists (and to a lesser extent conservatives). I think they suffer from a form of sociopathy. They claim to want to help the poor, yet their policies reliably cause people to be impoverished. They claim to care about police violence, yet they pass endless laws that give cops opportunity to commit violence. They say they care about housing the homeless, then pass laws that make housing scarce and expensive. I'm increasing of the position that persuasion is futile--if it were an effective strategy, it would've had more success by now. IMO, leftists only respect violence and proxies for violence (such as voting). Therefore, the only way for libertarians to get what we want is to concentrate our forces via a mechanism like the Free State Project, such that we have enough boots on the ground that we're the dominant political force in the region.
