# Scott McCrory Short term, I think the Free State Project and...

*May 23, 2022 — Comment Archer T. Ships replied to Scott McCrory's comment.*

Scott McCrory Short term, I think the Free State Project and seasteading are the ways forward. IMO, political values are heavily influenced by genetics, and libertarians are a minority strain. The best we can do is to concentrate our forces into a defensible area, such that we're the dominant force in that area. And then become so well-armed that it wouldn't be worthwhile to try to conquer us. (Akin to Switzerland.) Long term, I think libertarians need to figure out a way to out-breed the other ideologies. So, figuring out the genetic precursors of libertarianism and having lots of offspring who carry those precursors will be essential to ensuring libertarian success.
