Issac Trotts I think people who care more get their way more often. However, I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. What do I care if a food is Kosher or Halal? And if someone is too obnoxious (such as a vegan who always insists on getting their way), then the meat eaters will eventually drift away. It's primarily in the political realm that it becomes a problem, as people who enjoy a concentrated benefit often succeed at passing legislation that imposes a diffuse cost on every one else.
