There are lots of communities of people who consist of wholly willing people: churches, clubs, sports teams, etc. "imagine if we moved to the individual-by-individual atomization of society in some sort of libertarian" What you call atomization, I call respect for other people's consent. "preexisting power or privilege even further narrowed (or snuffed out)" Aw, yes, government schools, always teaching about how to rebel against existing institutions of power. No choice to be there, no choice to pay, no choice of curricula, not even the choice of when to go to the bathroom. And if you try to escape, armed enforcers will hunt you down and drag you back.
