"I also heard that it functionally steals all of your possible happiness from next Tuesday and adds it to Saturday night’s happiness instead, so much so that there’s a term called “Tuesday bluesday”" This happens to some people, but not all, or not to that degree.  And I think a lot of the blues stem from not getting enough sleep, as often happens in the context within which  people take MDMA (such as Burning Man, or a music festival).
